DIANA

General Information

Location:

BATir - Building, Architecture & Town Planning, building : C3

Key words:

Finite element software

Main application:

DIANA (DIsplacement ANAlyzer) is a finite element software that is dedicated to multidisciplinary analysis of a wide range of specialties of Civil Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering.

Standard finite element software can solve a limited number of engineering problems. Unconventional engineering problems require advanced modeling and analysis features. For example: analysis of large structure such as dams; behaviors of complex non-linear materials; efforts inducing extreme loading conditions such as fire, earthquakes, explosions, etc.. ; complex patterns where the structure interacts with the ground and / or the fluid. DIANA, with its wide choice of styles and materials analysis capabilities, provides an all in one solution to this type of analysis, while retaining the ability to solve the classic engineering problems.
