Wednesday May 21st, the KUL Department of Architecture hosted the Doctoral Seminar on Sustainability Research in the Built Environment (DS²BE). On this third try-out in a series of three, host professor Karen Allacker welcomed over 20 researchers from 7 different Belgian Universities.

At this seminar, PhD candidates Séverine Hermand (ULB), Philip Stessens (ULB) and Bart Janssens (UA) illustrated insightfully the current state of their work and challenges to come. Subsequently, professor Ahmed Z. Khan chaired a fundamental discussion between audience and presenters. Agenda:
